Former Late Show with Seth Meyers writer/performer Conner O'Malley has continually impressed us with his trenchant commentary on income inequality, his brave political stances, and his deep appreciation for the arts. Now he's back with his boldest video yet: O'Malley stars as Corey Mason, a late 1980s Dennis Miller Times Square impersonator, who poses for pictures with tourists, tries to get a job with Fox News, and strives to raise awareness of late '80s Dennis Miller.
"Everyday is a struggle. I would say everyday is the worst day," he says in the voice over. "But you know what they say: what makes you sick makes you stronger. And I'm sick to my stomach the whole day, and I'm filled with this deep anger, and I want to take it out on someone." He might not have a photo I.D. because it was taken away at Six Flags last year, but he does have an agent/manager/father figure/landlord watching out for him (and bringing fidget spinners to Israel).
You can't say he doesn't tell it like it is though: Pizzagate is messed up. In the words of YouTube commenter Regald Denko, "This is the first time I've laughed on 9/11 since 2001, good work Conner."
