It was going to be hard for viral-content producing computer algorithm Jimmy Fallon to follow up the excellent Fresh Prince theme recreation he made earlier this week, but it's clear Fallon's virality cannot be contained. Last night, Jimmy Fallon's "Neil Young" finally performed with the Real Neil Young. Watch them strum "Old Man" below.
Fallon has performed as Neil several times over the years, but this is, remarkably, the first time they've actually performed together. Young has previously expressed admiration for Fallon's impression though:
"Fallon sounded like a twenty-year-old me. Maybe not as good. Maybe better. How about that Jimmy Fallon? He is a classic. He does me so well, I don't have to bother anymore. He looks great, and I am an old guy who doesn't want to be on TV, so Jimmy has done all of my television performances for the last year or so. Thank you, Jimmy!"
Young also performed his environmental anthem, "Who's Gonna Stand Up?" as well. You can watch that below.
