Last fall, we examined the precious movie trailer for Song One, the twee indie film starring Anne Hathaway. The short description is "a story about how music can connect and transform people," but this is how Hathaway described it to Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, "I play a young anthropologist getting her PhD in Morocco. Something that happened to her [when] she was a teenager that made her grow up a lot too fast she became an adult very quickly, very young, so she never explored any part of her artistic side. And then her little brother who is 19 calls her up to say he’s dropping out of college to become a musician. And she doesn’t react very well. They haven’t spoken for six months and then he gets hit by a car and is in a coma.”
Naturally, the pair burst out into giggles:
Also amusing: Stewart trying to say Rilo Kiley.
