Maya Rudolph returned to Saturday Night Live as host last night, and tackled a larger-than-life female music superstar. No, she didn't play Whitney Houston, but she did spoof Beyonce in a sketch about the Most Important Baby In The Whole World, Blue Ivy Carter. With Rudolph as Bey and Jay Pharoah at Jay-Z, the happy parents greeted a bevy of celebrities, from Prince (Fred Armisen) to Nicki Minaj (Nasim Pedrad), from Taylor Swift (Kristen Wiig) to Bon Iver (Justin Timberlake).

Former SNL cast member Amy Poehler also showed up to give Rudolph support in a Bronx Beat sketch—Poehler also did "Really?!?!? With Seth and Amy" during Weekend Update. The show was pretty good, with a great cold opening about Linsanity/Chinksanity, "What's Up With That" (Bill O'Reilly! Kate Upton! Lindsay Buckingham!) and a funny commercial about a Maya Angelou prank show, "I Know Why The Caged Bird Laughs."

On March 3, SNL's host will be Lindsay Lohan.
