Josh Brolin, best known to many as Brand from The Goonies, made his second hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live, but he was nearly eclipsed by Australian singer Gotye, who not only sang two songs, but also was the subject of an obsessive second Digital Short. But the first Digital Short was pretty great: Laser Cats, as directed by... Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg.
Some clips are not online, including the cold opening, which featured a triumphant Mitt Romney being joined by other 2012 Republican also-rans, like Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich—they sang Green Day's "Time of Your Life," which could explain why it's not online (the rights, etc.).
