Viral-content producing computer algorithm Jimmy Fallon always has a fun time when—well, he just about always has a fun time no matter where he is or what he's doing in public—but he especially seems like he's having fun whenever Billy Joel comes to visit The Tonight Show. The last time Joel was on the program, the men harmonized their way into forming a two-man doo-wop group using an iPad app. And last night, the two were joined by Joel's backing band and fellow guest JK Simmons for an unrehearsed and spontaneous iPad-free doo-wop performance of "The Longest Time."

Joel, Fallon and The Roots also performed a (possibly) impromptu cover of The Rolling Stones classic "Beast of Burden."

And for good measure, Joel also performed that all-time Joel classic about choosing a bottle of wine before dinner, "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant."

If this has whet your appetite for more Long Island classics, you can always listen to the just-relaunched Billy Joel SiriusXM radio channel.

Just about the only thing they didn't have time to do was ride motorcycles together. But that's why Joel has Gov. Cuomo on speed dial.
