Last month, Fritz the dog charmed the Internet with his remarkable inability to catch anything. The golden retriever's clumsy overexcitement at the opportunity to taste human food led to a slow-motion cinematic masterpiece on par with the Britney Spears singalong in Spring Breakers or bullet-time in The Matrix. This past week, Fritz visited NYC to show his many imitators that you can't fake being completely uncoordinated—you have to earn that distinction through exhaustive and adorable hopelessness.
Fritz, a 3-year-old rescue dog whose owner swears he "shows no other signs of bad eyesight," appeared on Good Morning America to try to (wait for it) catch things with his mouth. Spoiler alert: it doesn't go too well. Although he may have been distracted from his task by the clearly coked-up morning news person.
