Last year, we saw the production of the new live-action (and CGI) Smurfs movie around the Big Apple. With Neil Patrick Harris in it, we were hopeful, but now we've seen the trailer and all we can say is that Azrael looks pretty cute.

Gawker wonders if this could be the "worst movie" of 2011. Well, maybe the worst non-sequel. Anyway, this summary of the plot should have tipped us off, "The Smurfs fall through a portal and end up in Central Park, and Gargamel [Hank Azaria], who's chasing them, follows. Neil Patrick Harris is running in Central Park. The Smurfs end up sneaking into his backpack."
