So the video below of a bearded bra-wearing, wand-twirling entertainer performing a shamanistic dance at the Union Square L Train platform accompanied by twinkling xylophone and zigzagging percussion seems just about right. Oh sure, the Officer Isaac Valdezes of the world may not understand what he's trying to express with this piece—but neither does the stuffed animal head he jabs at toward the end of the video.
