This afternoon, we received a tip with the subject line "Nude Gaming Party in NY," with the note, "had no idea this was going on in this city, but then again anything goes here." Instead of deleting the email, like we normally do when we see something with the word "nude" in the title, we decided to open and cautiously examine the video. In the name of science, of course. And lo and behold! We were in for a treat. (Warning: video borderline NSFW)
"I think there's a misconception about gamers that we're all just living in isolation, we're creepy, living in our mother's basement, but I don't think that's true...through these nude gaming events we can all just connect," says nude gamer Lisa. And party host Carlos adds, "This is our third nude gaming event this year!" How else are these nerds gonna get laid, after all?
While the whole thing might just be an skin-bearing viral marketing campaign for "party sponsor" XtendPlay, an "ergonomic add-on that beats gamer's claw," we must admit it's clever. And if any of you have been privy to one of these supposed parties, drop us a line...in the interest of science, that's all.
