via Irving Plaza
Sometime at the tail end of my absolute obsession with the New Kids On The Block, I read some article about how they did drugs or didn't treat their fans that nicely or something (who can remember) that made my adoration waver, but, after some soul-searching, I kept on loving them anyway (until someone paid me 50 bucks to take down my posters and I first heard Metallica's "One"). Now, decades later, the wound has been opened by everyone who didn't tell me about this intimate concert they played at Irving Plaza last week.
Excuse me while I absorb the experience second-hand through shaky-cam, scream-heavy YouTube footage:
The show, which also included 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men, was apparently a kick-off to their new tour together.
