Saturday Night Live promos generally aren't very...funny. Sometimes they're shot in an interesting location, sometimes they pick up on the sweet awkwardness of the actors, but most of the time, they don't make you laugh very much. But something miraculous has happened: this week's promo is actually funny! And it's all thanks to the chemistry between host Larry David and Leslie Jones.

Instead of the usual batch of 6 or 7 one-liners/short jokes, David and Jones do three extended bits together that seem mostly improvised, and are drawn from David's naturally honest (and caustic) personality. In one, they argue about whether people need to watch this weekend's episode ("What's the difference if they watch or not, the show's been on for 40 years, who cares, really?"); another hinges on why Jones won't flirt with LD ("You're too old for me"); and the last one features Jones's unique, cat-tinged take on the Curb theme.

Anyway, we were already overly-excited about this weekend's episode featuring our favorite Bernie Sanders impersonator, and now we are reaching too saucy levels.
