The Gothamist Editorial Board's Multiple Personality No Pants Subway Ride Disorder continues to confuse a torn and fractured city. First we love the No Pants Subway Ride! Then we hate it! Then we love it! Then this morning someone sends us this video (perhaps mildly NSFW?), and... well, why don't you take a look and decide for yourself if you can, in good conscience, endorse the foul fruits of Improv Everywhere's exhibitionism:
Sources say that in a longer version of this video, the woman's dance is interrupted by a phone call from her father, whom she begs to "stop worrying" about her, because "everything is going great" since she moved to New York, and she's "meeting so many fun people." To be sure, there's certainly nothing for this unidentified dancer to be ashamed of or anything, but if one were, say, collecting supporting materials for a formal debate about the No Pants Subway Ride, would this video be better cited in defense of the event, or in disapprobation? We suppose that depends on your feelings regarding twerking. One thing's for certain: we are really looking forward to seeing whatever news segment the guy on the right produces with this.
