Music video fans, rejoice! Maybe! Today comes news that VH1's ADD-oriented cult favorite, Pop-Up Video, is returning this fall with 60 new episodes, a move that we can only assume means that the network will be forced to actually show music videos.

The original show ran from 1996-2002, airing popular videos with pop-up bubbles featuring snappy bits of trivia during strategic moments. The new series remain much the same, though executive producer Woody Thompson said this go-around will also include rap and hip-hop videos, and that VH1 is plans to include interactive elements like polling and user-generated content to the show. Of course, in today's Twitter-saturated world, it's tough to remain at the top of the snark heap: “I have sat on the sidelines for the last decade and watched as everyone and the brother has ripped off Pop Up in some way or another with the internet coming out of nowhere and Twitter being hauntingly familiar and all of these devices that are using snarky, pithy text,” said Thompson.

We don't know what videos the new version plans to tackle (perhaps "Party in the USA?"), but if they look anything like this gem, we're sold:
