The Morbid Anatomy Museum in Gowanus is home to many outstanding oddities, like a two-headed duckling, dentures, death masks, and creepy skeletons, to name a few. And their current visiting collection is no departure—there's a two-faced kitten on display. A kitten is cute enough with one face, imagine one with two!
The exhibition, dubbed "Collector's Cabinet," is comprised of oddities sourced right from private collectors' homes—so, yes, someone has access to a two-faced kitten on a day-to-day basis. If you can unlock your gaze from that, you can also check out an anthropomorphic taxidermy tableau featuring cigar-smoking squirrels, erotica from the Weimar Republic, scary death figurines, a NECK TATTOO IN A JAR, and a two-headed calf, which is not as cute as the two-faced kitten, but will do in a pinch.
The exhibition runs through March 29th.
