It takes most of the day to pedal through the Five Borough Bike Tour, but thanks to the magic of the Internet, you can sit on your ass and experience the whole thing on your computer screen without burning any precious calories. Shot in HD, this timelapse video by cyclist Cesar Kuriyama offers a hip-level view of the experience of the 2012 ride, which was by all accounts much less of a shitshow than last year's Bike Tour. As much as participants complain about the ride's annoying bottlenecks, it must be exhilarating to bike on the FDR:
