It's that time of the year again, when creative young folk around the greater metropolitan area gather together to race shopping carts that are expressly designed to highlight their unique personalities. The Idiotarod will return to the streets and sidewalks of New York City on Saturday, January 26th around noon.
As per usual, the urban version of the Alaskan Iditarod allows one and all to participate, so if you can handle the brutal winter air for long periods of time, start conceptualizing your carts now. This will be the 10th time the race will take place here, and so far no one has been able to surpass the passion and dedication that Team Danger Zone has brought to the event.
