Now until April 21st, a mosaic of classic and exotic orchids will greet visitors in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, a living design inspiration taking its cues from a modernist Key West estate garden. The Orchid Show: Key West Contemporary will feature various events and activities that capture the artistic and cultural appeal of the Keys through weekend musical performances, a curated poetry walk, the NYBG's much-loved Orchid Evenings, and more.
Escape to Paradise: The Music of Key West. The sounds of tropical rock and island music transport you to Key West with lyrics that evoke a warm, lush locale and a laid-back lifestyle.
Poetry for Every Season. Take a stroll with an audio guide through the Perennial Garden on the Poetry Walk and view poems that highlight the work of the island's important 20th-century American poets, or attend the Poetry Reading with renowned poets Henri Cole, David Yezzi, and Tracy K. Smith as they read the works of the famed American poets featured in the Poetry Walk.
