As Fleetwood Mac begins rehearsals for their upcoming tour, Stevie Nicks has commented on the one missing link: Christine McVie. While the tour will include Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood, the 5th member is glaringly absent... again.

McVie—who is the oldest in the band by a few years, turning 70 this July—quit the band in 1998. In a recent interview, Nicks spoke about the breakup... quoting Taylor Swift, naturally:

"We all did everything we could do to try and talk her out of [quitting]. But you look in someone's eyes and you can tell they're finished. As Taylor Swift would say: 'We are never ever getting back together ever!' That's what Chris was saying... But I'd beg, borrow and scrape together $5 million and give it to her in cash if she would come back. That's how much I miss her."

When we talked to Lindsey Buckingham last year, he told us, "Christine McVie is out of the band... she burned all of her bridges in Los Angeles and moved back to England."

The tour begins April 4th, and will hit Madison Square Garden on April 8th. And here's McVie taking the lead on "Over My Head" in 1976:
