It's prom season! And this year, teenagers want to vomit up all that 99 Bananas they pre-gamed with on only the finest of dresses. "It's my senior prom and it only happens once in a lifetime. I have no budget," one Long Island teenager, spending $250 to spend the night at a mansion in the Hamptons, told the Post. Good thing they have their priorities straight—ask any adult and they'll tell you hands down the most important night of their life was prom.

There's apparently a wait list to book a $9,000 double-decker Hummer with stripper poles, and girls are willing to spend thousands on dresses. The owner of one Queens prom boutique said, "This year, kids are spending wedding prices for proms. Everyone wants to be Kim Kardashian or Lady Gaga. It's increased by $500 since last year." However, the Post doesn't seem to have any quotes from the parents, who we're guessing will be footing most of these bills. Sally Greenberg of the National Consumer League said, "It's absurd and it's sad. It's a waste of precious resources that they should be using to pay for college." But what good is a degree if you've never danced on a stripper pole inside of a car?
