The 33rd annual Seaside Summer Concert Series lineup has been announced, and it's looking like a real doozy for dad rock, you guys!
We've got Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, a very special Evening With The Monkees (with special guest MC Jay Black!), Cheap Trick and a tantalizing Mystery Night, which will be announced a week before the show. The best part? The series starts on July 14th, and all the concerts free. They're held every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at West 21st St and Surf Ave, and you are "encouraged" to bring your own chair. The best part? There's no alcohol allowed, so you can enjoy the pristine power chords of "Surrender" without the hazy cloud of beer tainting your ears.
