Hoboken and Jersey City: prepare yourselves for a possible impending aerosol-fueled apocalypse! Yes, that's right, the rumor mill is churning with the news that MTV is scouting possible locations in both cities for a new series following Snooki and J-Woww outside of the Jersey Shore.
Back in April, the network announced that it was planning two spinoffs from the Shore series, one focused on Pauly D's career as a DJ and one about the two ladies: "Always inseparable and ready to get the party started at the shore, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over in this 12-episode series," a statement read at the time. "The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same."
The duo were rumored to be looking at a Long Island location in April, but apparently there weren't enough tanning salons in Nassau County to make the cut. MTV has yet to comment on the New Jersey scouting, but Chris Christie is on constant watch for breaches in the state's Snooki security.
