Shepard Fairey's newly finished SoHo mural may have to come down soon. Animal New York noticed these stop work orders posted to the side of the work say "all work done without a permit," and they will either need to get the right permit or tear the work down. Meanwhile, the opening of Fairey's May Day exhibition on Wooster street seems to be going great. People have been waiting around the block to get in, and the first 300 will get a free print. Fairey also opened a pop-up shop for his OBEY clothing line on the LES, complete with awesome skateboards.
