We've seen apartment listings with a "woof woof" at the bottom before, but never quite like this. With New York's real estate market in steep decline, home sellers need to think outside the box in order to drum up attention these days. A local photographer "Spotted" this woman in Park Slope doing some crafty marketing for the co-op she's selling.
When asked about the listing, the woman said that "the tape treatment was justified by the fact that the dog was otherwise spoiled." We're not sure if personal ads such as these fall out of the Fair Housing Act's territory as far as what words can be used in real estate advertising, but something about a woman and her dog wearing matching signs makes us feel like they should look the other way in their war on the term "family-friendly."
