<strong>IN <a href="http://www.brooklynbridgepark.org/">BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK</a></strong><p>Syfy brings Movies With A View at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 1. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean <a href="http://video.syfy.com/movies_events/syfy_saturday/behind_the_scenes_13/interviews_4/tiffany--interview/v1220097"><em>Mega Piranha</em></a> will be screening. But happily, the schedule is looking nice (check it out below). The series is free, outdoors on the grass, and while there's <em>technically</em> no drinking, you can probably get away with some wine in a cup if you're discreet. They'll have music at 6 p.m., followed by the movie once it gets dark. Park concessionaires Ditch Plains, Blue Marble Ice Cream, Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar and Calexico will be offering food and drinks for purchase. This one gets packed, so it's suggested you show up when the lawn opens at 5 p.m. if you want to stake out some space. It's recommended that you B.Y.O. blankets and food (but chairs, tables, animals, tarps are not allowed). The final word <a href="http://gothamist.com/2011/05/04/feel_free_to_continue_drinking_at_b.php'>on booze</a> has yet to come. <strong>ON THE BEACH AT CONEY ISLAND</strong><p>Coney Island has announced its new outdoor film seriesâConey Island Flicks on the Beach. "Selected films will be shown on a jumbo 40-foot screen on the beach at West 10th Street every Monday night from July 11 to August 29; screenings are free to the public and begin at dusk. In addition, each of the events will open with short films presented by Rooftop Films."
