Where To Get Your Bingo On

Bowery Poetry Club

A longstanding favorite on the bingo enthusiast circuit, this competition-cum-variety show is hosted by over-the-top drag queen Linda Simpson (who also hosts a Saturday night bingo party at Le Poisson Rouge) and bespectacled comedian Murray Hill. Expect lots of audience participation, scatological humor, and prizes in the vein of VHS pornos.

Mondays, 7:30pm, free admission and $2 bingo cards, happy hour 7-8pm

Underground Rebel Bingo Club

After hopping the pond from England last year, the URBC has exploded in popularity and made a semi-permanent home at The Bell House. "You everywhere and nowhere but wherever we are we're playing dirty secret hardcore muthafuckin' Rebel Bingo on the down low," their website claims. And that pretty much says it all.

Venue and time sort of a secret, but they'll be at The Bell House this Saturday, 9pm, $5-15

The Standard Grill

Every Sunday, the hordes of pretty young things who pack seemingly every square inch of The Standard's real estate take a break from their Boom Boom Rooming and their not eating and whatever else they (or don't) do to play some good old-fashioned board games instead. But since this is still The Standard, there's still ridiculous things going on, and fancy-pants prizes like champagne and designer handbags.

848 Washington St., (212) 645-4100, Sundays, 11pm. $25 per person minimum order

Lips

For the more flamboyantly inclined, there's also the weekly "Bitchy Bingo" night at Midtown gay cabaret Lips, hosted by "The Mean and Bitter Ginger Snapt." Reserve a table for dinner between 7:30 and 8:30, watch the drag queens belt out their Broadway-inspired revues, and let the game begin around 10. A big hit for bachelorette and birthday parties.

227 E. 56th St., (212) 675-7710, Wednesdays, dinner reservations at 7:30, 8, and 8:30pm, $15 food minimum per person

Play Along At Home

Can't make it out? That's okay, too! Play along at home with these handmade cards.
