P.S. 1's New Summer Courtyard Installation, "Afterparty," Debuts

<a href="http://ps1.org/exhibitions/view/207/">Leandro Erlich: Swimming Pool</a> is a year-long installation that debuted inside P.S. 1 in October. Seen from the deck-level, it looks like an ordinary swimming pool, and one's inclined to walk by thinking, "Ugh, typical conceptual bullshit." BUT this swimming pool is actually a mirage, with a shallow glass bottom above a basement room, where visitors can descend and gaze up through the water. It's the perfect place to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA622OwgHCA">sit in your Budweiser swim trunks</a>, sip a whiskey, and brood.
