Anthony James's Birch Cube: Amidst all the chatter and clutter, this installation was a humble oasis.

This one-of-a-kind empty box by Gavin Turk is an essential addition to any serious art collection.

Ansel Krut. Penis and poopies, you guys.

How many rats had to DIE until Mark Dion got his "Death of the Collector" just right?

This was not a real man behind the curtain. Or was it? Only artist Daniel Arsham knows for sure.

Nick Cave "Soundsuit"

Beth Campbell

Erik Thor Sandberg

Each of Reed Seifer's dollar bills sold for just $25!

This neon fence hurt our eyes.

Robb Putnum's "Wastrel"

Xia Xiaowon "Human Body #6" created a holographic effect with layers of glass.

Thomas Broome's "I know it even if I can't see it."

They're out of frame, but San Van Aken's New Edens was one of the most talked about installations this year. An orchard of trees "with genetically altered properties" were designed and grafted by the artist, and each tree has the capacity to simultaneously grow all five fruits.

Pedro Tyler. The words etched on the surface are "Silence Is So Accurate."

Takaaki Izumi "notice that could be good news or bad news."

Robert Wilson's stunning video of a teary-eyed Johnny Depp at first glance appears to be a very high-resolution photograph, but then you realize it's actually a video, and tears are welling up in Depp's eyes. Surprising moving.
