Pillow advocates and pillow hate groups collided on Saturday in Washington Square Park for the eighth annual International Pillow Fight Day. Tensions ran high as the public displays of pillowing left mass casualties of feathers strewn across the park. Our own Aaron Marks said the place was packed (200-300 people in the northern part of the park), and he was lucky to survive in one piece: "It was pretty wild, somehow I escaped with no feathers in my hair and only hit by 2 or 3 pillows—so I'd say a rousing success!"
As long as those crazy kids stay away from the rocks and the bedbugs, let them eat feathers if they want. Check out some photos from the event above, and plenty of videos of it as well (watch out for appearance by Red and Green men).
