Pillows and pajamas took over Washington Square Park for the city’s seventh annual Pillow Fight Day yesterday. The event caused a lot of contention around the Gothamist office this week, with some advocating for the complete end of "precious public displays of mass infantilization." But judging from the photos above and video below, participants had a pretty swell time. As long as those crazy kids stay away from the rocks and the bedbugs, let them eat feathers if they want. Just don't even think about going near the subways with these shenanigans.
