To cleanse our mind of the doggie bondage photos, let's visit the runway from this past Friday night's annual New Yorkie Fashion Show, which took place at the New Yorker Hotel. David Frei, the legendary Voice of Westminster, acted as emcee of the event, which benefited Angel on a Leash, a non-profit organization that creates therapy dog programs for hospitals and institutions.
The show featured Schmitty The Weather Dog and Meteorologist Ron Trotta (the official weather team for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show), as well as more unlikely guests, like former Toddlers & Tiaras star, 6-year-old Eden Wood, who was there filming her new show. Photographer Katie Sokoler spotted her "making fun of a little girl eating a chicken wing." Amongst the cuter sightings were dogs decked out in MetroCards and riding in New York Taxi wagons—click through for a look! And as a bonus, here's that chicken wing photo:
