Yesterday was the final voyage for the StarshipSpace Shuttle Enterprise. After boldly flying in circles around the city for much of Friday morning to the delight of almost everyone in NYC, the plane was decommissioned by Starfleet brought to JFK airport where it was greeted by reporters and adorable space-loving children.

Check out more photos from JFK above. As for what's next for everyone's favorite pre-federation Enterprise: the shuttle will be stored in a hangar at JFK until June, and then will travel by barge up the Hudson to its new permanent home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
