Yesterday was the final voyage for the ~~Starship~~Space Shuttle Enterprise. After boldly flying in circles around the city for much of Friday morning to the delight of almost everyone in NYC, the plane was ~~decommissioned by Starfleet~~ brought to JFK airport where it was greeted by reporters and adorable space-loving children.

Check out more photos from JFK above. As for what's next for everyone's favorite pre-federation Enterprise: the shuttle will be stored in a hangar at JFK until June, and then will travel by barge up the Hudson to its new permanent home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
