Kostume Kult, a mirthful art collective that excels at throwing cool, sexy parties, held their 11th Horned Ball on Saturday night. It's the group's big annual fundraiser, so that they can delight tons of kids at Figment every summer with their free costume tent. And go to Burning Man.

The dress code during the evening was horns, played out to wild and sometimes clever extremes, usually of the post-apocalyptic variety. There were four separate themed areas, with different DJs spinning metal, trance-ish, disco, one other. There were games like the jousty Welcome to the Funderdome, body painting, cuddling, a spanking table, and the most extreme party food: grilled cheese sandwiches.

The after- after-party was slated to be the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival, so if you saw any half-naked horned creatures prancing around Fifth Avenue, now you know from whence they came.
