Full Bunny Contact is for everyone who's ever thought: "Yeah, sure, Easter's cool and all... but I wish it were louder."

It's a cranked-up Easter carnival/madhouse going on all weekend at The Clemente on Suffolk Street.

Here you can play Shoot the Peep by blasting paintballs at some poor sap in a kind-of chicken suit. You can get thrown off a mechanical bull that's been themed-up with rabbit ears. You can sit next to the Insult Bunny and have your friend take your picture while you hold a sign that says "Puke Breath," the hare holding his nose.

You can joust with the Warrior Bunny out back in the parking lot on the bouncy inflatable arena. And for the main event, you can enter the death cage for Full Bunny Contact, in which you have 40 seconds to gather at least 10 rubber eggs while two large rabbits (or a giant lizard with a bunny head, depending) try to knock your basket out of your hands.

It's the type of event where the emcee has to yell into the mic because the music's so loud and what he's yelling is "C'mon people make some noooooooooise!!!!"

The pricing scheme is tiered and a bit complicated, but plan on spending at least $40 if you want to really participate. There are prizes and candy and you can buy hot dogs and cotton candy. The decor and sets and outfits are all refreshingly low-budget and homemade. And all the guests I saw last night seemed to be having a lot of fun.

Full Bunny Contact takes place on the first floor of The Clemente, located on Suffolk Street between Rivington and Delancey. It's open for various "blocks" of time, day and night through Easter Sunday.
