On Saturday night, Webster Hall opened its gates to Coney Island USA for its annual fundraiser event, the Coney Island USA Spring Gala. It was an evening filled with burlesque performances, fire-eating, and a theatrical performance based on founder Dick Zigun's The Burlesque Manifesto, all to raise money to repair damages from Hurricane Sandy.
Photographer Stacie Joy was on hand, and took the photos you can see above. She noted that though the event was a bit more subdued than normal, "the folks who performed and emcee'd the event did an amazing job, the crowd was enthusiastic and it appeared as if everyone had a good time."
