After a few weeks of Olympics-mandated vacation, Saturday Night Live returns tonight with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck. There'll be one big change in the cast, with current head writer Colin Jost making his debut at Weekend Update, taking Seth Meyer's vacated spot behind the desk with Cecily Strong. In the meantime, Bobby Moynihan took over the SNL Instagram account, and posted several backstage photos yesterday of everything from famous props (Church Lady!) to Chris Farley tributes—all of which has reminded us yet again that, putting aside all critical judgments of quality, working at SNL is an amazing job.
