The city has announced that all NYC parks are open today, after they were closed at 6 p.m. last night. However, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Mitchell Silver said, "Use extreme caution."

Many parks may have downed tree limbs and slippery walkways. Additionally, NYC Recreation Centers will re-open at 3:00 p.m. today.

Silver also said that all city zoos are closed today for cleanup and will be open tomorrow. Skating rinks are also closed today and will reopen tomorrow (the Lasker Rink might reopen today).
