Everyone's favorite comedian, Sarah Palin, will be going head-to-head with Joe Biden tomorrow night for what's sure to be the most watched VP debate in history. There are some pre-debate choices to be made, however. You can choose to view it in the solitude of your own apartment, shivering in a dark corner hugging your knees, or you can surround yourself with others, under the influence of many drinks, at a bar near you. If you choose the latter, here are some options:

Here's the list and interactive map of where you can watch with those mostly supporting the Obama/Biden ticket (about 70 spots in a 10 mile radius of the 10002 zip). The McCain/Palin website only lists 3 debate watching events with the same search specifications, so looks like any Republicans out there will be acting as the away team. The NY Young Republicans also note an event, but with a last minute venue change that's not yet been determined--however, they have received "over 85 RSVPs!" The Young Dems will be partying it up over at Bourbon Street Bar & Grill, where chef Tommy Hines, friend of Gothamist, will be frying alligator liberally.

Our picks: Galapagos, who aired the Obama/McCain debate in 3-D, will be giving the VPs some 2-D screen time (details), and the Bell House has actually moved the bands playing tomorrow night around the debate so folks can come watch it on the big screen. If you're Manhattan-bound, the Sixth Ward is offering up a guilt-free party, where you can also sign up to help register more voters.
