Is the Gray Lady ready for her close-up? It was announced today that Lifetime is aiming to bring the paper's Modern Love column to the small screen (something that HBO was talking about doing years ago).
According to the Wrap, the show will be executive-produced by Jenny Bicks (of Sex and the City) and "will revolve around a newspaper science editor [Simon McElvane] whose personal life is in disarray, and who suddenly finds himself tasked with editing the paper's relationship column. The series will use use actual columns published by the Times as fodder, and will explore the state of our complicated and modern relationships."
The dramedy is set to start filming this summer—can't wait for the bed bug episode!
