If the Lifetime Network is where movie and TV (okays, mostly TV) actresses of yesterday are put to pasture...I mean, do TV movies and specials, what can we expect of the upcoming Lifetime magazine. Former hot journalists will do stories about women scorned? Maybe if Alex Witcheland Sally Quinn really want to slum AND empower women, they can write to the magazine. Or Rosie O'Donnell can prove her journalistic chops again. The New York Times does its thing and simultaneously doubts and hedges its bets on the new venture. Lifetime does have its dogged and devoted fans: this site is titled I am a lifetime television for women movie junkie. Better yet, check out the Lifetime Movie Title Generator.
