So many people are talking about the retouching that was done to Lena Dunham's photos in Vogue, but no one has mentioned the real victim here: Dunham's dog, Lamby. Her pet's body image is distorted in not one but two photos in the spread, each time given a thicker, whiter, and wholly unrealistic coat.

A shelter dog we spoke with at BARC saw the photos, and told us that there's been a lot of barking about how this gives humans the wrong impression of shelter dogs, who can't always live up to Anna Wintour's unrealistic standards for canines. "Sometimes fur is yellowed, sometimes a dog isn't born with such a full coat," the dog, who wished to remain anonymous, told us, lifting a leg and urinating on an oppressive stack of patriarchal Modern Dog magazines.
