Mark it, dude: Lebowski Fest will be rolling its way back into the semis our durn interesting city in April. The endearingly awkward gathering, which celebrates the Coen Brothers' 1998 cult classic, will take place on April 19th and April 20th (4/20, man). On the 19th, you've got the Lebowski Fest Movie Party at the Gramercy Theatre. There will be music by Los Duderinos (if you're not in to the whole brevity thing), which is billed as "The Ultimate Metal Big Lebowski Tribute Band." (Suck it, The Jesus And Maude Chain.) Chipocrite will also perform the film's soundtrack with a Game Boy, followed by a screening of The Big Lebowski.

On April 20th, there's the bowling party, costume contest, trivia contest, and what-have-you. In addition to being a stoner holiday, the 20th also falls on Shabbos this year, so expect to see a lot of deeply conflicted Walters in the house. (Last time yours truly came in second place in the trivia contest, and would have placed first if not for a ringer: Will Russell, one of the dudes who started the festival, which clearly contravenes a number of the fest's bylaws.)

There will be special guests TBA, but you can usually count on Jeff Dowd, the producer who partially inspired the Dude, to be hanging around smoking some Thai stick and macking on ladies. It all goes down at the massive Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square—show up early if you want to roll, because bowling is general admission and not guaranteed.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Shomer Fucking Shabbos again!) at 11 a.m. For a taste of the last NYC Lebowski Fest, check out our photo feature.
