The Black Eyed Peas, best known for their innovative pop musicruining the Super Bowl, are getting ready to teach city kids about music! The Black Eyed Peas' Peapod Foundation will be teaming up with the Adobe Foundation to open a Peapod Adobe Youth Voices music and multimedia academy in New York City. So they can make things that look and sound like this:

That example might be two-thousand-and-late, but you get the point. Will.i.am said in a statement [pdf], "Our passion for music and media was fueled by many generous people on our road to success. Expanding the network of Peapod Adobe Youth Voices academies enables us to pay it forward, giving more youth the skills and encouragement they need to realize their dreams." The school will be located at 21 Howard Street in a facility run by the Urban Arts Partnership, and will be open starting in July. They promise to teach kids ages 13-16 about music, video production, and how to look dignified while peeing yourself onstage.
