EV Grieve directs us to this notice posted on East 9th Street asking permission "to temporarily dress several storefronts and buildings," in preparation for the Coen brothers' new 60's period piece, "Inside Llewyn Davis," which features Justin Timberlake. No word on whether Ryan Gosling has been retained to diffuse the expected hysteria when shooting begins.

The movie is loosely based on folk signer David Van Ronk, a pal of Bob Dylan's, with Oscar Isaac as the lead, and Timberlake playing another folk singer named "Jim." Next week, the crew will be shooting in Woodside, Queens, before moving to East 9th Street on the 16th. "Inside Llewyn Davis" doesn't have a distributor yet, so here's hoping that the Coen brothers feel free to take a few liberties with Timberlake's character.
