Prepare your feeds for Color Factory, the latest in a truly absurd amount of Instagrammable pop-ups this year. This one hails from California (don't they all?) and will set up shop in SoHo starting next month.The pop-up will debut on August 20th, just in time for the tail-end of "selfie-season" (only six weeks left to finish all your Selfie Day shopping!).

Originally debuting in San Francisco last year, the New York version will have 16 installations "inspired by the colors of the city." You can expect art from illustrator Jason Polan (Every Person in New York), a floating ballroom, and a room where you can discover your "secret color," whatever that means.

And just when your perfectly-curated (and timed) experience at this selfie station is over, you have the chance to explore even more Color Factory experiences hidden throughout Manhattan, with a complimentary map that will be given with each ticket.

Color Factory will be open on August 20th at 251 Spring Street in SoHo. Hours are Thursday to Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are a whopping $38 (children 2 and under get in for free, because they never asked for any of this). Make sure you get tickets online, as the Instagram-centric event is expected to sell out.

In the meantime, you can check out "Manhattan Color Walk," Color Factory's free installation located in the Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum on the Upper East Side. The piece features 265 colors sourced from all over Manhattan, and painted on a sidewalk.
