
Everyone's favorite New York band, Interpol, has a new album coming out...and apparently the band have become muses to some. (The album is called Antics and drops on 9/24. Although we'd be willing to bet that most of you have heard it by now, buy it when it comes out anyway!)
So back to our rock muses...tomorrow night marks the opening of the Interpol Antics NYC art space. What better way to kick off this collaboration of art and music then with a party! Right? Details below...

So what can you expect? Here is what will be featured in the space:
Television or DVD projector - to show 10 short films on DVD commissioned by Matador and inspired by Interpol (books with all ten film treatments will be included) :: iPod - will contain tracks from the album which will be added two at a time over a period of time :: Stereo - each member of the band will be contributing their own playlist that will be played when the space is opened :: 4 Shepard Fairey (GINAT /OBEY) large art pieces on canvas inspired by photos of and by the band and their friends :: Photos - original photos that Shepard's pieces are based on will be displayed alongside the pieces to show artistic process :: 4 separate Shepard Fairey limited edition screen printed posters (being sold for $30 each) :: Limited edition seven inch boxset will be sold
