Warner Bros. is already leaking photos of their new Superman (though Man of Steel isn't due out until 2013)—and SlashFilm has a lot to say about the first look!
Instead of just going with your traditional, straight up hero shot, we’ve got Superman in a much darker, forboding environment then we’re used to. Choosing this image, Superman protecting a smokey safe, as our first official look at the film says a lot about what [director Zack] Snyder is going for here.
They also think he's rocking an ’80s Wall Street trader hairstyle. Meanwhile, MTV zooms in for a more detailed analysis, noting the long cape and large iconic S-shield, but they're left wondering if this version of hero is a boxers or briefs kind of guy.
