Golden Girl Betty White turned 89-years-young this week, and has been in New York City celebrating. She started out last night with a visit to the Late Show with David Letterman, where she told the host that one of her hobbies these days is vodka (luckily, he had some on hand). Check out the clip below:
After that she was off to her own party at Le Cirque, which was hosted by TV Land. TMZ caught a glimpse of the menu for the evening, which included pigs in a blanket, mini crab cakes, and shrimp cocktail. Very mid-century!
Betty is the last surviving Golden Girl, and was much celebrated over the past year, even hosting SNL (she told Letterman she doesn't think she'll do it again). Estelle Getty died in 2008, Beatrice Arthur in 2009, and Rue McClanahan just last summer. Let's hope Betty makes it to centenarian status!
