Legendary hip hop DJ Funkmaster Flex was arrested yesterday on domestic assault charges. Flex, whose real name is Aston G. Taylor, allegedly shoved and threatened a woman at his house Thursday evening, and was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment. The woman, who hasn't been identified, told police that Flex sent her threatening text messages previously, then assaulted her (and her cell phone) during a fight at Flex's home in Ardsley in Westchester last night.
Flex was let out on bail, and seemed nonchalant about the arrest: he tweeted his mug shot pic, and said, "Funk Flex Mug Shot “Man I never thought I’d be posting this” -Funk Flex."
