In keeping with the tradition of forgotten '90s celebrities getting into the cover band game, former Public Enemy hype man and noted clock fan Flavor Flav is now fronting an classic hits cover band. Flav sings! And they're coming to New York, so your earbuds can get the full experience for only $35-$100. Yeeeeaaaahhhh Booooyyyy.

According to Flav's agency, his band, dubbed "Flavor Flav and the FlavorTronZ," mostly play hits from the '70s-'90s from the likes of "Wild Cherry, Sly & The Family Stone, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, The Gap Band and more." Apparently they've been kicking it for a couple of years, opening for Public Enemy back in 2012; next month they'll take the stage at the Iridium on April 2nd. There's a V.I.P. Meet & Greet for $100!

And, well, if you happen to be in the market for an offbeat party cover band, they aren't horrific—plus any pre-teen will appreciate the novelty of having Chuck D's counterpart at his bar mitzvah.
